The history of the boarding school is closely linked to the history of Ranni. The boarding school is located on a quiet hillside in a wooded area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, easily accessible, and close to the center of Ranni. The college was incorporated in 1964 as the local St Young's College. The college was promoted to First Degree College in 1968 and is the only college in this part of the country. When the government approved the administrative separation of the bachelor's sector, colleges were left with only master's and specialization courses. Transmutation has turned this institution into a center of knowledge with a diverse cast. In addition to the traditional degree programs, we now also offer UG and PG degree programs in tourism. In the 53 years of its distinguished existence, the university has produced outstanding scholars, administrators, politicians, and entrepreneurs.
