The application mode is online and the selection is based on merit. 

Admission for UG / PG is held through online submission of student data and the Univewhole process was conducts the whole process in minimum marks required for Hons subjects is 45 % in class 12 and for PG is 50% in graduation 

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A OBC B and Physically Challenged candidates will in be accordance with the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming sucha reservation No application will be allowed to take advantage of more than one reservation quota. Candidates having SC / ST / OBC / OBC Bcertificatese issued by states other than West Bengal will be treated as General category for Admission
