Library Science (MLibSc)
The Master of Library
and Information Science (MLIS) programme is a one-year professional
postgraduate programme covering advanced library principles and information
science techniques. Planning and Management, Computer Basics and Applications,
Library Management, Research Methodology, Statistical Techniques, and other
topics are covered.
Library management,
research abilities, managing information technology or systems, and other
skills are included in the programme. Other than library-related activities,
this curriculum places a greater focus on handling and accessing all sorts of
information.
The advanced study of
library and information science concepts and methods and modern technology
