Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (JNKVV), Jabalpur (MP) was established on 1st October, 1964, by the Government of Madhya Pradesh under Act 1964 (No. 15 of 1964). JNKVV is cent percent Government funded State Agricultural University, implementing government funded research projects for agricultural development in the State of Madhya Pradesh. Jawaharlal Nehru based on the recommendations of Radhakrishnan Commission (1949) on the concept of Establishment of Agricultural University.
