The BSS B.Ed. Training College at Alathur began in 2005 with the idea of promoting quality teacher training. The College is located in Alathur, Palakkad District, Kerala. The founder of the University is Swami Nirmalananda Yogi (Swamiji), a philanthropist, humanist, and a great visionary leader. The BSS B.Ed. Training College was born with the idea of creating heaven on earth by encouraging everyone to develop noble thoughts and feelings, which are the most effective means of transforming human society. General and Multipurpose Hall: 

The College has a fully air-conditioned general hall (Hall of Wisdom) and a multi-purpose hall that can accommodate 100 students. It is equipped with a loudspeaker, an amplifier, as well as an LCD projector, and a blackboard. The Institute organizes all important extracurricular and extracurricular events in these halls, such as guest lectures, panel discussions, international programs, speaker sessions, seminars, and symposiums. 

Classrooms: 

All classrooms in the school are well-lit and ventilated and have adequate furniture. Each class was equipped with an interactive whiteboard with WiFi functionality. 

Laboratories: 

The college has two scientific laboratories (physics and chemistry) with sufficient equipment to carry out scientific experiments. Through the psychology laboratory, students acquire sufficient knowledge to carry out psychological experiments. The laboratory is equipped with various devices and psychological tests. Another institute's ICT laboratory is equipped with 50 computers with free wireless Internet access and an uninterruptible power supply. The Internet connection speed of the ICT laboratory is 300 Mbit/s, the centers offer free Internet access. 

Library: 

The institute's library is well-equipped and fully automated. All library services were provided by the computer. The library currently has a stock of 8,000 volumes and 9 journal subscriptions. The library is also connected to a digital reading room, which makes it easier for students to research digital content online and access it freely for the preparation of projects and documents. 

Admission Cell: 

The institution's admissions cell facilitates the admissions process for the institution's entire B-Ed program in accordance with university policies.
