The BSS B.Ed. Training College at Alathur began in 2005 with the idea of promoting quality teacher training. The College is located in Alathur, Palakkad District, Kerala. The founder of the University is Swami Nirmalananda Yogi (Swamiji), a philanthropist, humanist, and a great visionary leader. The BSS B.Ed. The institute's library is well-equipped and fully automated. All library services were provided by the computer. The library currently has a stock of 8,000 volumes and 9 journal subscriptions.
