Coimbatore Institute of Management and Technology (CIMAT) was established in 1996 by Kovai Kalaimagal Educational Trust, located at Narasipuram, Coimbatore; Sprawling over 10 acres in the foothills of the Western Ghats surrounded by green hillocks. The location advantage of Coimbatore known as the popular manufacturing hub in Tamilnadu leads us to promote integrating classroom knowledge with practical experience.

Infrastructure and Facilities

Library:

Spacious with 70 seating capacity and highly well-stocked functioning from 9.00 AM. to 4.00 PM all college working days, the library is regularly updated with the latest journals and newsletters. It also provides access to online databases like Bloomberg. Its services are subscribed to by working professionals too. Library with over 24,422 books, 15379 volumes, 9 National Journals, 4 National magazines, 7 International Journals, 240 online journals, 2036 numbers of cd's, 1715 numbers of back volumes and 5 numbers of dailies,10 systems with 24/7 internet connectivity. The library is also equipped with E-Journals, N-LIST, and DELNET access for the users. The students can also access the question banks.

Sports:

With a strong focus on the overall development of the student's personality, CIMAT has a robust sporting infrastructure. CIMAT initiates sports activities for maintaining health and physical fitness. Students have the facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports. The College has pitches for football, cricket, basketball and athletics, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. These facilities have played a role in the institute's strong sporting culture.

Hostel:

Separate Hostel facilities are available for both Boys and Girls.

The hostel rooms are spacious, with natural light and ventilation. Each student is provided with a study table and chair. Each hostel has 24-hour electricity and water supply, a water cooler, a standard telephone, and a shared TV room.

IFull-fledged hostel facilities for boys & girls students have been established inside the campus. It also provides excellent and safe lodging and boarding facilities to cater to outstation students' needs. It has full-fledged facilities with WI-FI, a fitness center, a reading room, and a computer room. The students are monitored for their well-being by an efficient and qualified custodian. The newly constructed hostel provides internet facilities in a standard computer center and recreation facilities exclusively for the hostellers.

Fitness Centre:

The College pays special attention to the fitness of the student. It provides separate gym halls for men and women and has equipment that tones the students' well-being.

Transportation:

A full-fledged Transport department functions in the College with 12 numbers of buses. The College has a fleet of luxury buses that ply several routes across Coimbatore and its neighboring areas, serving students and Staff. This service is offered to ensure hassle-free and safe transportation. The number of buses will be increased, corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.
