The Greatest Saint of the Modern World, St. Little Flower, was born on January 2, 1873, in Alencon, France. From the very beginning of her life, she had an ardent desire to become a Carmelite nun, and overcoming various obstacles, in 1888 at the early age of 15 joined the cloistered Carmelite community of Lisieux, Normandy.

Facilities and Infrastructure

Library:

The library is the soul of any institution; Navajyothi is also having a well-established library.It is a centre of acquiring, processing, retaining, and disseminating facts to the person network with the motto of empowering knowledge. The library has a wide range of academic resources such as books, periodicals, online periodicals, project reports, and question banks. The college has a Library Council comprising the Principal, Director, Heads of the various Departments, Librarian and Student Representatives to assist in procuring books, journals, and magazines. Library Council is responsible for the upkeep of the library facilities.

Computer Lab:

The college has a high-tech computer lab, and students are encouraged to use the same for study purposes. Students are to attend free basic computer classes conducted by the Institution. A student should remember while using a computer in the lab that another person also uses the same gadget. Therefore fair use of the computer is expected from the users.

Language Lab:

Navajyothi College has a well-furnished language lab adjacent to the Department of English. This is used for enhancing English language skills. Various audio modules help the students to learn pronunciation and communication skills. The teacher in charge trains the students on assigned time. 

Seminar Hall:

Navajyothi College has well-furnished ICT classrooms and Seminar Halls that provide adequate facilities for classroom teaching. Since many things are common to all the students, the following policies and regulations are laid for the optimal use of the facilities provided in the college.

Smart Classroom:

The custodian of the ICT Classroom is the Head of the Department. The adjacent gadgets will be in the custody of HOD.HOD will permit the use of the room upon request by the teachers. There should be a proper arrangement in the department about using ICT classrooms. If maintenance is necessary, it should be informed to the Bursar.

Audio Visual Room:

Those who want to use the Seminar Hall or Audio-visual room shall get prior permission from the office to avoid the last-minute rush. The applicants may register their slot for the facilities before they conduct. They shall obtain the facilities provided along with and without any damage. 

Canteen:

Healthy food can help students growth and stay fuelled for their busy day. Navajyothi has a neat and clean canteen breakfast, lunch, tea, and snacks available in the college canteen.

Hostel:

Bethania Convent Girls Hostel is set in Kannikalam half km from Navajyothi College campus. All guest rooms in the hostel are well-furnished.

Parking:

Navajyothi College has provided amenities for parking the vehicles of the stakeholders. There is a policy drawn for the use of vehicles on the campus. This Policy applies to all faculty, staff, students, and volunteers who drive vehicles connected with college and sponsored activities.

Placement

The Placement Cell of the college is operating to train its students pro-industry and to identify job opportunities for the students. This cell works in collaboration with various agencies engaged in management, media, and communication in different parts of the country. The cell aims to provide a broad ground for the students of the college to explore the different employment avenues available to them.
