Admission:

Admissions at THSTI is announced in June every year for Ph.D. students. The Ph.D. program is governed by JNU. Admission is based on merit for those students who have a master's degree in a relevant field and have qualified JRF examination. For those who have MBBS/MD/MDS from a recognised University and SRF fellowship has to write an entrance exam. Shortlisted candidates are then called for an interview round, on the basis of which students are admitted.

For Short-Term Training Program, admission is done directly.

How to apply?

For PHD, the application form is accepted through online mode only.
Candidates have to register on the official website for online application.
After successful registration, log in for filling the application form.
Scanned copies of the required documents should be uploaded on the website.
After filling up the application form completely, the candidates can make payment through different payment options.
For Short term training program, candidates can apply at any time of the year by sending an email along with required documents to the supervisor of the respective interest at THSTI.

Courses	Details
PhD	Thematic Area: Infection & Immunology, Maternal & Child Health, Non- Communicable Disease, Multidisciplinary Clinical & Translational Research
	Eligibility: 1. Master’s Degree in related fields or BTech in Biotechnology from a recognized university with 55% marks or equivalent. Qualified JRF examination of CSIR, UGC, ICMR, DBT, NBHM or AYUSH-NET for fellowship for the program.
	2. MBBS/MD/MDS/MPH or B.E./BTech or B. Pharma from a recognized university with 55% marks or equivalent and SRF fellowship from ICMR, CSIR.
Short-Term Training	Duration: 1. For UG Students: 2-6 months.
	2. For PG students: 4-6 months
	Eligibility: UG and PG Degree in related fields like from any UGC recognized private/ publicly- funded college with first-class marks from class 12th onwards.
