Bethany Navajeevan College of Education, Kanyakumari Tamil Nadu was established in the year 2008 as Private Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Teaching. Admission

Eligibility for Admission to the B.Ed Programme

A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the B.Ed programme (in Government /Government Aided/Self-Financing Colleges of Education) leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) provided:

(i) The candidates should have undergone a 10+2+3(15) or 11+1+3(15) pattern of study and passed the qualifying examination conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education / Examination and UG Degree Examination of the UGC recognized Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary / Higher Secondary Education level.

Eligibility for Admission to the M.Ed Programme

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed.Degree Programme should have obtained at least 50% marks(aggregate in theory and practicum) or an equivalent grade in the following programmes:

i) B.Ed.

ii) B.A.B.Ed.

iii) B.Sc.B.Ed.

iv) B.El.Ed.

Reservation and relaxation of marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other applicable categories shall be as per the Central Government/State Government whichever is applicable.

Admission shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/Central Government/University in force from time to time.
