SIMS Approved by AICTE: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was established in November 1945 as a national-level apex advisory body to conduct a comprehensive survey of the available facilities for technical education and promote development in a coordinated and integrated manner across the country. The AICTE Act was formulated to establish the council, intending to facilitate proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education system throughout India. SIMS Affiliated With RGPV: Established in 1998 under the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Act 13, 1998, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya occupies an expansive campus spanning approximately 247 acres. It encompasses ample space for stacks, reading rooms, e-library facilities, discussion chambers, circulation, processing, and a section for periodicals and newspapers. With a rich collection of 11,159 titles and 45,814 books, the library also subscribes to 147 national and international journals and 33 magazines in print. Additionally, the e-library section provides access to 1,792 international e-journals spanning various disciplines such as Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Social Sciences, and Management. Apart from offering issue and reference services, the library extends book bank facilities to students and holds institutional membership in DELNET consortia.

SIMS laboratories and workshops adhere to AICTE and higher education standards, equipped to provide hands-on learning experiences to students across various fields of study.

SIMS Canteen:

SIMS campus features a poolside canteen serving quality-controlled food and beverages in a hygienic environment. Currently, a modern lunchroom with a seating capacity of 500 is under construction. As the campus strictly follows a vegetarian policy, non-vegetarian food is neither allowed in the lunchroom nor permitted to be brought from outside. The canteen operates on a non-profit basis.

SIMS B.E. Admission: SIMS provides a four-year B.E. program in various streams including Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering. Admission to these programs is based on specific eligibility and selection criteria set by the college.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates seeking admission to the B.E. program must have passed the Higher Secondary examination (10+2) from CBSE or MP Board, or any other equivalent examination, with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for OBC/MBC and SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of Mathematics, Physics, and any one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology (Botany & Zoology).

Selection Criteria: The selection process for the B.E. course is primarily based on the candidate's performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Qualified candidates must then register for the counseling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), MP.

During counseling, candidates need to present all necessary documents for verification. Admission to SIMS will be granted based on the candidate's JEE Main score and preference during the counseling process.
