GATE 2026 participating institutes will accept the GATE Score for admission to science, engineering, and technology in various streams. GATE is the most well-known national-level test. The GATE Exam is organised by IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and IISc (Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore). GATE scorecard allows candidates to secure admission in institutions like IITs, NITs, and IISc. GATE Score also makes a candidate eligible for recruitment in PSUs like NTPC, ONGC, IOCL, and others.

IIT Roorkee has conducted the GATE Exam 2026 on February 2026, successfully in 30 branches. The GATE 2026 participating institute, IIT Roorkee, declared the GATE Result in March 2026. The GATE Score Card was declared in March 2026.

The candidates who have cleared the GATE Exam 2026 are eligible to use their GATE Scorecard to secure admission into IITs, NITs, and IISc. COAP and CCMT counselling procedures will be conducted to provide admission to the GATE-qualified candidates based on ranking and cut-off marks notified by the institutes.
